Talk about a grand opening.
HomeTeamNS Khatib is the latest HomeTeamNS clubhouse that’s catered to NSmen from the Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
Just think of HomeTeamNS as SAFRA Clubhouses as it works almost the same way.
The clubhouse was open to the public on 1 August 2020:

It’s so new, retailers have just started opening. Just a few hours ago, it posted a video of four Burger King staff waving at you, tempting you to head over for some rendang burger:

It, however, got into the news for it’ll have the first airsoft facility in Singapore.
And now, it’s got into the news again for a grand opening they probably didn’t want.
Two confirmed COVID-19 cases visited the clubhouse five times between 31 July 2020 and 3 August 2020.
We got to know about the visits yesterday evening through the MOH list that is updated daily, and lest you’ve not been checking it, here are the dates:
- 31 July 2020, 5:45pm to 9pm
- 1 August 2020: 2pm to 2:45pm (Suki-Suki Thai Hot Pot) and 6:40pm to 8:45pm (Orchid Live Seafood)
- 2 August 2020: 2:45pm to 6:30pm
- 3 August 2020: 1:40pm to 8pm
It’s unknown whether they’re working there or they simply love the place, but HomeTeamNS has provided more details, saying that the two individuals have visited the premises “on five occasions between 31 July and 3 August 2020” and that “they are currently receiving medical attention in the hospital.”
Both people were asymptomatic during the time of their visit and did not display any symptoms.
According to HomeTeamNS, they were only contacted by MOH on 11 August 2020. Since then, the affected outlets and all common areas at the HomeTeamNS Khatib Clubhouse have been thoroughly disinfected by a National Environmental Agency appointed cleaning agency on 12 August 2020.
The Clubhouse will also step up its cleaning and disinfection at all common and high touch areas.
