In four days, two accidents have happened near the intersection of Hougang Avenue 4 and Buangkok Green.
And for some reason, the Institute of Mental Health signboard may be seen in the background of both accidents.
Accident #1
The first accident happened last Friday night at the intersection, involving two cars.
Three persons were brought to Sengkang General Hospital, and police are investigating. A social media photo of the accident shows the two cars side by side on the road following the collision.
The bonnet of a dark-colored car is heavily damaged in the impact, with debris strewn over the intersection.
Accident #2
The second collision happened just days before, at the same intersection, involving a car and bus service 43.
When the eight people involved were taken to the hospital, they were all conscious.
According to a spokesperson for bus operator Go-Ahead Singapore, the bus was traveling straight at the intersection with the traffic signal in its favor when it collided with the car, which was making a discretionary right turn.
