Cabin fever from being cooped up at home all day thanks to the pandemic has only propelled many of us to search for new worlds to lose ourselves in since we can’t travel.
All from the comfort of your bed, like a magical plane that can take you anywhere you want to be as long as you have your devices to steer you, you can jump into a different dimension through Netflix movies, books and games and experience being zombie killers in one and Iron Man in another.
You can even be transported into showrooms to shop with virtual reality now.
HP’s New Virtual Showroom
Well-known technology company HP has now unveiled a new virtual showroom experience for customers who prefer to visualise their products in a more immersive way before deciding to buy it online.
Shaped like an apartment building, visitors have the option to choose between six different themed home settings.
These range from the Productivity Pro for those who are looking for work-from-home setups to the Entertainment Lover and even for the Edu-siastic Parents looking to stock up on educational products for their children.
You may even mistake the rooms for an IKEA showroom – they’re neatly designed with various HP products displayed around them, and one can move around to see a 360-degree view of the room.
Gamers entering the Glorious Gamer room would be introduced to HP’s Omen range gaming chair, high-spec gaming display screens, desktop set up, headphones and more that will enhance one’s gaming experience – something you may need for your mancave.
The HP Gbook Create G7 and HP 27f 27-inch Display screen takes front and centre in the Passionate Artist room, paired with the HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw printer compatible with the HP Smart Print mobile app.
Seriously, the showrooms are so real, it’s like you’re almost there looking at the products yourself. Who said online shopping lacks the feels?
Transforms Online Buying Experience
If visitors are interested in buying any of the showcased products, a simple click on the “Shop Now” button will take them to HP’s official flagship Lazada store to seal the deal.
You’re also able to clinch special deals if you go on a scavenger hunt in all six rooms to find six different pieces of a voucher to complete it.
Customers will also enjoy a one-year warranty for any product they buy from the official Lazada store and can add on other options for additional carepack services.
Pick-Up and Return services are available for HP PCs with these additional carepacks and if you need any help, digital support will be provided on WhatsApp and their website at all times of the day, every day.
“With many of us spending more time at home amid the pandemic, this virtual showroom experience helps customers to visualise what leading PC and print innovation could look like as part of their current work and play environment,” said HP Inc.’s Singapore Managing Director Vivian Chua.
She added: “The initiative is part of our commitment to continuously transform experiences to better serve our customers who now buy technology both offline and online.”
You can experience it for yourself here.
