2020 has not been a pleasant year.
If we were informed in December 2019 that travel would no longer be a thing in 2020, hanging out with your friends would be illegal for some time, and that bubble tea would temporarily be taken away, most of us would have aggressively pestered Elon Musk to bring forward his plans to colonise Mars.
But, alas, no one saw the pandemic coming, and here we are, stuck.
Still, there are some joys of living that the coronavirus can never take away from us, like ice cream.
Or, in this instance, an ice-cream buffet.
Don’t Say Bojio: Ice-Cream Buffet in a Warehouse for Just $9.90
Throw away your vegetables, feed your seven cats, and get your wallets out because Happy Ice is having an ice-cream buffet and warehouse sale on 31 Oct and 1 Nov!
The company announced the buffet in a post on Facebook.
An ice-cream buffet, much like getting a free iPhone for completing a survey online, sounds too good to be true, but it absolutely is.
For just $9.90, adults can eat as much ice cream as they want, or as much as their stomachs will tolerate.
They will be able to choose from over 20 types of ice cream, including the beloved Brown Sugar Boba popsicles.
But that’s not all.
As part of the $9.90 deal, adults will also get a takeaway box of ice cream of their choosing for free.
Children Under 7 Eat for Free
If you happen to have children under the age of 7 who have an unhealthy obsession with ice cream, you’re about to make them very happy.
According to their Facebook post, children over the age of 7 only have to pay $1.90 for the buffet, which is roughly the price of a single cone at the provision shop.
But the truly magical thing about this buffet is that kids under the age of 7 can eat for absolutely free as long as they’re accompanied by a paying adult.
This means that if you go with your mum or dad and they purchase a buffet slot for themselves, you can eat all the ice cream you want without worrying about how much it will cost your parents.
This, of course, is every kid’s dream.
If you’re planning to head down to their warehouse on 31 Oct and 1 Nov, be sure to reserve a slot at this website first.
Patrons will be allowed to eat as much as they want for 50 minutes, but only a maximum of 5 people will be allowed per table, in line with Covid-19 restrictions.
There will also be ice-cream sales on offer at the warehouse, so bring along some extra cash if one 50-minute buffet isn’t enough to satisfy your sweet tooth!
