Having been together with my fiance for a couple of years, I can understand how a couple might get on each other’s nerve once in a while.
But like most couples, we communicate to resolve our differences and never resort to violence.
Unfortunately, this Indonesian man didn’t get the memo.

Indonesian Man Burns Wife Alive Over An Argument
Nowadays, I feel absolutely baffled when I read the news. Are these tragedies really happening in the world?
According to Sinar Harian, a man in Indonesia burned his poor wife alive. No reason could ever justify such behaviour but his one was the worst of the lot.
He burned his wife alive over a squabble they had at a boarding house in Surabaya.
They had only been married for two months at the time.
I thought the honeymoon period lasts for six months.
Supervisor At The Boarding House’s Account On The Incident
The supervisor at the Boarding House, 48-year-old Heri Suhandoyo said that the couple were named Putri and Purwanto.
The former is 25-year-old and the latter is 45-year-old.
Suhandoyo isn’t aware of how exactly the crime was committed, but he was aware that they have had arguments and fights for a while. The couple didn’t live together for a while as Putri went to live with her mother.

Unfortunately, their largest and final fight happened that fateful morning. “They were arguing for five minutes when I heard Putri yell when she was burned alive”.
Supervisor Rushed Wife To The Hospital
Suhandoyo rushed to her aid and stumbled upon Putri being burnt alive. He then rushed the wife to the hospital while the husband fled on a bike.
The police are currently looking for him.
The Chief Police of Surabaya, Widiyantoro are looking into his motive for burning his wife.
Though the house has been investigated, the police still do not have an idea of why he committed the crime and if he had planned it in advance.
