Quick, where’s the best place to live in S’pore?
If you didn’t answer Tampines, you might want to add what’s in this article for the list of arguments for “why Tampines is the best neighbourhood” and the most happening place.
Cause Ip Man’s coming to S’pore.
No, not just the movie.
The actual man himself (ok, the actor Donnie Yen) is coming to Singapore for a promo tour of Ip Man 4: The Finale on 9 to 10 Dec 2019.
Donnie Yen To Be At Our Tampines Hub At 7pm, 9 Dec 2019
Take note of that timing, cause that’s when he’ll be conducting the fan meet at The Festive Plaza as part of his tour.
And if you think he’s just bringing himself here, you’d be wrong. He’ll be bringing a whole pavilion and sets from Ip Man movies here as well.
Ip Man Pavillion With 3D Illusion And Movie Sets
That’s right, at the fan meet he’ll unveil the Ip Man Pavilion, which will contain sets from the previous movies like Ip Man’s living room; the wooden dummy, family portraits, and the big round table where they sparred at.
Other than that, the Pavilion also featured 3D trick-eye illusions. It will be on display from 9 Dec 2019 to 6 Jan 2020, so even if you missed Donnie Yen’s reveal, you can make your way there on your own schedule.
Ip Man Movie Marathon At 12pm
If you’re too excited and can’t wait, then you might want to join a bit earlier at 12pm where Our Tampines Hub will be holding an Ip Man movie marathon and free popcorn will be given out.
But hold your horses, cause the thing to look forward to the most is still the movie.
Reminder: Ip Man 4: The Finale Coming Out 20 Dec 2019
And on 10 Dec, Donnie Yen will attend the gala premiere of Ip Man 4: The Finale at Shaw Theatre Lido from 8.30pm onwards.
Ip Man 4 will be about his arrival in San Francisco, where his student Bruce Lee upsetted the local martial arts community by opening a Wing Chun school.
