What has food got to do with clothes? Absolutely nothing.
The closest I ever got to a food and fashion collaboration was the time I spilt a drink on my t-shirt.
Meet Cotton On x Irvins the collaboration no one knows anything about.
On 9 February, both Cotton On Asia and IRVINS Singapore released posts hinting at the collaboration on their social media pages.
While these cryptic stories and posts leave much to the imagination, we can expect this collaboration to be exclusive and definitely one of a kind.
What could the collab items be? My best guess would be shirts with the IRVINS logo. After all, the IRVINS mascot and its catchphrase of being “Dangerously Addictive” is a hallmark of the brand.
From Our Searches
Since we couldn’t find any more details, we decided to investigate. From a Google image search, we found a picture of a shirt with a logo that looks a little like the IRVINS logo if you zoom out, squint your eyes and look at it from 26 metres away.
Featuring a pink, tie-dyed t-shirt, we can only wonder if this is part of the new collection.
Unfortunately, the link on the official Cotton On website is broken.
(Disclaimer: This is mere speculation so we can only wait to see if it’s true.)
IRVINS Chinese New Year Promotions
While waiting for the new collection to drop, IRVINS has some new items that you can try. This includes the Salted Egg Prawn Roll ($12), Salted Egg Gyoza Skin ($8) and the Chicken Curry Potato Chips ($7.50).
For the die-hard fans of IRVINS, get the IRVINS Premium Box, which you can fill up with 5 to 6 packets of your favourite IRVINS snacks. Presented in a special IRVINS box, this is the perfect gift for anyone who loves salted egg and for the coming Lunar New Year.
Additionally, IRVINS has 2 different gift sets if you want to purchase them for yourselves or as a gift.
The IRVINS Classic Box ($19.90) contains 4 packets of snacks including the Salted Egg Fish Skin (50g), Salted Egg Potato Chips (50g), Hot Boom Salted Egg Fish Skin (50g), and Hot Boom Salted Egg Potato Chips.
This box is great as a sampling box and for you to try the different flavours available!
With many food and clothing collaborations taking off, such as Nike X Ben & Jerry’s and UNIQLO X Nissin, I expect this collab to sell out as fast as the IRVINS salted egg snacks.

Wait, did they release the news knowing we’ll write about their CNY promotion?
