If you really want me right, you should chase after me.
And chase after Singapore, Taylor Swift and Coldplay did—both artists are holding six shows in Singapore for their upcoming tours.
But the artist that’s perhaps the most “down bad” for Singapore is the Hong Kong Heavenly King Jacky Cheung, who has just added another two dates to his Singapore concert.
This means he’ll be staging a total of 11 shows in Singapore.
You might as well apply for Singapore PR already.
Jacky Cheung Suddenly Adds 2 More Dates to His Singapore Concert
Jacky Cheung suddenly added two more dates to the Singapore leg of his brand new “Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour“, which kicked off in Macau earlier this month.
These two new dates are 3 and 4 August, so if you’re a fan of the God of Songs who has yet to cop your concert tickets, it’s time to free up your schedule.
The God of Songs was initially set to perform nine shows in Singapore over three weekends next month—14 to 16, 21 to 23, and 28 to 30 July.
Now, with the two new dates added to his concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, you can catch Cheung performing 11 shows in Singapore.
Are you interested in buying tickets for the two new dates? Perhaps you should consider calling in sick for work this Friday (30 June). Tickets are going on sale at 10 am on Friday and will be priced between $168 and $388.
At least you won’t need a UOB card to buy Cheung’s concert tickets.
Jacky Cheung’s Concert Tickets Swept Up in Hours; Scalpers Reselling Tickets for Up to $2,000
Many Jacky Cheung fans were disappointed after the first rounds of ticketing for the nine concert dates.
The reason? Tickets were swept up within hours of their release.
Ah… The classic Ticketmaster experience. It’s a canon event.
I guess it’s time to listen to Cheung’s “我真的受伤了” (meaning “I’m Really Hurt”) on repeat.
To make things worse, it appears that scalpers swept up most tickets instead of actual Jacky Cheung fans.
Hours after concert tickets were sold out on Ticketmaster, listings for concert tickets started springing up, with tickets on Carousell now going for up to $3,000.
Win liao lor. Guess those without tickets will be watching the concert outside the stadium—a uniquely “Cat 0” experience.
Tickets to Aaron Kwok’s Singapore Shows Sold Out Within Hours
Jacky Cheung’s kaki and fellow Heavenly King, Aaron Kwok, performed two shows at the Resorts World Ballroom in Singapore earlier this month.
Tickets were priced between $188 to $398 and were sold out within three hours of release.
Standard.
The 57-year-old also performed three shows in Malaysia last week. Of course, all tickets were sold out within hours as well.
It must be the Heavenly King effect.
With any hope, this Friday’s round of ticketing for Cheung’s two new concert dates will be fruitful for fans.
