Holland V Co-Star Cynthia Koh Defends Jeanette Aw From Sexual Harassment

Aw still addresses 51-year-old Koh as “Third Sis”, a carry-over from their Holland V days. In the popular TV series that revolved around the Mo family operating a nasi lemak cafe in Holland Village, Aw played fourth sister Mo Jingjing and Koh was third sister Mo Yanyan.

The incident occurred when Aw went out to eat with Koh and “Second Sis” Patricia Mok, then proceeded to another place for drinks. Koh and Mok were walking in front of Aw.

A foreigner inside grabbed Aw’s hand and pulled her over. He was watching a porn video and forced her to watch it. Aw immediately told Koh and Mok about the harassment.

Koh stood up, walked over to the foreigner and said: “I tell you, don’t ever do this kind of thing to my sister again.” Aw felt she had a very protective sister.

The foreigner did the same thing to another customer. Police later arrived and took the man away.

A person off-screen during the YouTube episode reminded Koh that she said “orbi good” (Singlish for serves you right) when watching the foreigner being taken away by police. Both Aw and Koh laughed at the memory.

Koh recalled a similar incident that happened to her at the old Zouk nightclub on Jiak Kim Street, which it vacated in 2016. A man touched her buttocks.

Koh grabbed his hand, turned it around and said: “Say sorry now. If you don’t say sorry, I call security.” The man apologised profusely.
