2020 and 2021 were great years…for COVID-19 and Jeff Bezos.
As you probably know, Amazon, Bezos’ company, has been flooded with orders since the coronavirus began spreading all over the world, particularly in the US, as people have been stocking up on household essentials and other basic goods during the COVID-19 outbreak— panic buying, in other words.
In mid-2021, it was reported that Amazon’s first-quarter profit more than tripled from a year ago, amounting to around $8.1 billion.
But that’s not why everyone’s talking about Bezos at the moment. Rather, it’s his newfound look and resemblance to a rapper.
Jeff Bezos Spots a New Look for 2022 & Now Looks Like a Celebrity
Amazon’s co-founder has found a new look for 2022 and the internet is not sure how to feel about it.
The 51-year-old was spotted recently partying in a luxury yacht with his celebrity girlfriend Lauren Sanchez looking a little…different.
Here’s how he looked in the past:
And here’s how he looks now:
As some people have pointed out, Bezos now bears a haunting resemblance to rapper Pitbull, the man who’s rumoured to wear sunglasses during his showers.
And when one netizen on Twitter pointed this out, everyone couldn’t unsee it.

“Oh my God. The resemblance is uncanny. Although Pitbull, aka Mr Worldwide wore it better,” one commenter said.
Others were less than impressed by his fashion choices.
“Apparently, money can’t buy you taste”, one netizen said.
“The late 70s called; they’d like their…well, their everything back,” said another.
Bezos also seems to have been hitting the gym recently, as he was seen showing off a six-pack.

An Expensive Party
While we were having a small gathering in our houses with a few glasses of wine, Bezos and his party crew were living it up in an 88-foot luxury yacht that can sleep up to seven people in a master suite, two double cabins, and two twin cabins.

The cost to charter it for a week reportedly ranges from US$38,000 to $42,000 (S$51,000 to S$56,000) not including expenses.
This is but a drop in the ocean for Bezos, who is worth an estimated US$210 billion (S$283 billion). He is not the richest man in the world, however, as that title goes to Tesla owner Elon Musk, who’s worth US$276.2 billion (S$373.1 billion).
Early last year, Bezos stepped down as Amazon CEO, 27 years after he first started the company. He is now the executive chairman.
