Do you know what are the 12 types of YouTubers in Singapore?
Well, I don’t either, but that’s fine.
The only type you’ll have to know is the YouTuber-entrepreneur-hypeman, or Singapore’s greatest showman, better known as “JianHao Tan”.
JianHao Tan’s newest venture
Every Singaporean who has been on YouTube would have heard of him. Boasting one of the highest subscription counts among local YouTubers, the 29-year-old has made a name for himself through his various types of videos ranging from comedy to lifestyle videos.
That’s not all he has to show, however.
The Singaporean YouTuber and entrepreneur now has a new venture, a car dealership called HypeCars.
On Tuesday, Jianhao unveiled his new business in a TikTok video, which was meant to “Show what your small business sells in 7 seconds”. The video showed Jianhao skipping towards the entrance of the dealership, and subsequently the variety of luxurious rides available at his newly-started dealership.
Talk about millennial marketing.

The caption on the TikTok video writes: “I just started a new business venture selling cars! If you’re ever looking to buy or sell a car, come to HypeCars”.
The business was started in partnership with a group of fellow like-minded car enthusiasts a few months ago.

“I like cars, in fact, the first large purchase that I made from my YouTube projects in my earlier years was actually my dream car… I guess it’s symbolic of the hard work I’ve put into my work and I want others to feel the same.”
The YouTuber added that HypeCars tries to get the best cars under their assortment, hence naming the company “hype” cars.
Drivers frequently patronising BlueSG will love this next piece of news – Jianhao also revealed the dealership’s plans to bring in some electric cars.
Jianhao’s newest venture appears to already be thriving, with the Instagram page for HypeCars already at more than a thousand followers.
The Instagram page showcases the wide range the dealership has on its rides, with rides like the much coveted Nissan GTR that could potentially become yours.
