Oh my god.
Joker is gonna have his own movie and the trailer is OUT.
I repeat. This is not a drill.
We’ve seen Joker play the villain role in Batman, Suicide Squad and more. But have you ever wondered how he became The Joker?
I mean, no-one can be born evil…. can they?
The Joker will be played by actor Joaquin Phoenix. The movie basically depicts the story of how a comedian, Arthur Fleck becomes The Joker.
It’s pretty sad actually
Arthur is a mentally ill (and rather unsuccessful) comedian who faces rejection everywhere he goes.
In the trailer, he is seen making a kid laugh, only to be told off by the kid’s mother.
Similarly, his therapist no longer wishes to treat him. In a separate incident, he is beaten up by some kids from Gotham.
The last straw came when his very own comedian idol, Franklin Murray – played by Robert DeNiro – makes a joke of him. Like, literally makes a joke out of him.
By now, you probably feel sorry for him. Everyone he knows and admires rejects him. Coupled with his mental illness, his descent into madness and a life of crime isn’t all too surprising.
And thus, The Joker is born
And hey, he actually looks really good, even with a ‘mask’ on.
Is The Joker a villain? Yes
Are villains good? No
Should we support villains? No
Should we support The Joker? Uhm, yes?

Come on, you know what they say about how bad guys are more attractive… right? Kidding, I don’t want to go to jail, Harley Quinn can have him all to herself.
All jokes aside… We can’t wait for the movie to be out somewhere in October!
In the meantime, time to join The Joker’s army:
