You’ve heard of Jurassic Park.
Now make way for Jurassic Mile.

More than 20 dinosaurs that line the cycling and jogging path, with one standing at almost five metres high.
Everything to Know About Jurassic Mile, The New Outdoor Display of Life-Sized Dinosaurs
A new path that connects Changi Airport and East Coast Park is now open, giving visitors the option to cycle or jog to the airport for the first time.
And the main attraction along this reported 3.5km route? A gorgeous outdoor display of more than 20 dinosaur models.
Apparently, more than 20 different pre-historic creatures line over 1-kilometre of the path, with the tallest dinosaur towering at almost 5 meters high.
One can also expect to see carnivorous and herbivorous species, defensive dinosaurs and those that operate in the sky.
These include the Tyrannosaurus Rex, a trio of velociraptors and humongous dinosaur eggs.
Informational panels have also been set up to educate visitors about these extinct animals, and speakers will blast safari-themed music along the 1km path.
Entry to Jurassic Mile is free.
However, between 16 October and 3 January, prior booking will be required from Fridays to Sundays due to safe distancing requirements.
Capacity has reportedly been capped at “a few hundred”. Visitors are set to be admitted every 30 minutes, with a maximum stay of up to one hour within the exhibit.
You can book a slot here from Sunday onwards.
New Facilities
According to Changi Airport Group (CAG), the link will act as both an alternative route to the airport and a novel recreation option for Singaporeans.
The project supposedly took an estimated period of three years to complete, and was finished with the support of the National Parks Board and the Singapore Tourism Board.
Apart from the Jurassic Mile, there are also pit stops, bicycle rental services, pay-per-use showers, a washing bay and a new cafe.
Bicycles can be chartered at $8 per hour for adult bicycles.
The new cafe, which is called Hub & Spoke, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
It offers local and western fare, alongside the option of alfresco dining.
