If you’re a 90s kid, chances are, you’ve been to the JustAcia outlet Dhoby Ghaut at least once in your life; either with friends or on a date to impress your girl.
After all, it’s in town, delicious, and one of the only few places in town that gives you a lineup of free-flow ice cream and drinks without breaking your wallet.
Well, as of 9 Nov 2021, the iconic outlet will be a part of history and memories in Singapore.
Iconic & Affordable JustAcia in Dhoby Ghaut Closed Down Due to ‘Landlord’s Request’
On 9 Nov 2021 at 9:31am, JustAcia uploaded a heartbreaking post onto their Facebook page.
The iconic outlet, which has been operating for over ten years, has ceased operations.
Thanking long-time customers and supporters for the outlet, the brand highlighted that they have closed due to the request of the landlord.
However, that doesn’t mean that JustAcia will disappear from the central area as the brand said that they’re hoping to be able to come back soon.

Meanwhile, the JustAcia brand hasn’t disappeared from Singapore (thankfully), and they have two other outlets in Singapore.
One is located at Bedok Point (in the east) while the other is at Sembawang Shopping Centre (north).
Netizens’ Reactions
To see how well-loved a brand is, all you need to do is to look at the comments section.
And, oh boy, was it well-loved.
The post, which was uploaded two days ago, was shared 343 times, probably by people who had fond memories of the place.
The comments also operated along the same vein, with most feeling sad at its closure.
One couldn’t forget the free flow soft drinks and soft serve (we totally get it)
A westie was also bemoaning the lack of JustAcia in the west:
But one thing for sure, though, the outlet has provided tons of good memories for young Singaporeans during their decade of service:
What are your fond memories of this outlet? Let us know in the comments section!
Not The Only Iconic F&B Outlet To Disappear
One thing for sure, though, JustAcia isn’t the only iconic F&B brand downsizing, or disappearing altogether, in Singapore.
Lai Lai Kitchen, a roasted meat and wanton noodles outlet operating in Jurong Point for over 20 years, had also closed down previously.
Similarly, messages of support and fond memories poured out on the post announcing the closure.
