Ken Lim, who was charged for molesting a woman in March this year, has just accused of sexual offences against three more woman. This means four women has come out to accuse him of sexual harassment.

59-year-old Ken Lim Chih Chiang was slapped with five new charges from three women today (28 June 2023), three months after he denied his first charge.
It happened between 1998 to 2013—decades before his first victim voiced out.
First Woman: Ken Lim Wanting to “Help” Woman
From 1998 to 1999, Ken Lim reportedly told a female artiste that she lacked sexual experience and offered his assistance in this area. He is also said to have shown her an explicit video featuring a woman engaging in sexual activities with men.
Second Woman: Ken Lim Asked if Woman is a Virgin
In the period from 1999 to 2002, Lim purportedly questioned another female artiste about her virginity. He is alleged to have further queried about her capacity to write “deeper songs” given her alleged lack of sexual experience and proposed that he could be her first sexual partner.
It’s also claimed that Lim suggested she explore and document her “sexual fantasies as homework,” presenting himself as a potential partner to realize these fantasies.
Third Woman Ken Lim Explicitly Asked for Sex
Around 2013, within Hype Records, Lim is said to have made a proposition to a third woman, suggesting she might as well benefit materially if she was willing to have sex without conditions.
In the same alleged incident, he reportedly unbuckled his belt in her presence.
Offences Committed When He Was Most Popular
Ken Lim, known for his stints as a judge on reality TV shows like Singapore Idol in the 2000s and The Final 1 in 2013, have allegedly committed these offences during his most popular period.
Lim was responsible for the creation of The Final 1 in 2013 and reprised his role as a judge for the show’s second season in 2015.
Lim is married to Judy Hsu, a Taiwanese Canadian and Singaporean Permanent Resident. The couple met over 37 years ago when she was pursuing her career as a recording artist. They have two sons
First Victim: Ken Lim Charged for Molesting Woman at His Office in 2021
Back in 30 March, Lim was accused of using criminal force to touch a woman’s breast on the evening of 23 November 2021.
The incident occurred at the Hype Records office, which is located along Henderson Road.
The victim, who is 25 years old, was not identified as her identity is protected by a gag order.
Lim had “strenuously and unequivocally” denied the accusation against him.
He has since changed his lawyers, and his lawyers now include a includes a Senior Counsel, a term reserved for elite lawyers in Singapore.
