Love snacking on KFC’s fried chicken, but worried about gaining weight? Here’s some good news for you – you don’t have to!
KFC has now expanded into Hong Kong’s nail care industry with a new line of edible nail polishes that “capture the flavour of KFC’s secret recipe chicken”. They come in two variations that are all too familiar to us: Original and Hot and Spicy.
I’m a little grossed out, but also weirdly excited.
So far reviews have been somewhat mixed, with some commentators worrying about the health and social problems that come with people walking around, sucking on their fingernails.
But others found that it did appear to taste like chicken. According to Glamour, “Original is actually pretty cute for spring, if, you know, it didn’t taste like fried chicken.”
But here’s the catch: the nail polish line is a limited release available only to lucky KFC connoisseurs in Hong Kong. So if don’t intend to head there any time soon, chances are you’ll have to try your luck over at Taobao or Carousell.
