KFC Releasing New Mozzarella Zinger Double Down & Sour Cream & Onion Fries This Friday (29 May)
KFC isn’t just going to release a Double Down that we’re familiar with: instead, it’d be a new Mozzarella Zinger Double Down.
You’d know what a Double Down is, but simi is a mozzarella?
Simply put, it’s a type of cheese, and is commonly used for pizza and pasta because, well, it’s from Italy.
If you’re familiar with KFC’s time-limited menu, you’d have known about the Zinger Mozzarella Burger that was released back in 2018, which we’ve once reviewed and given it 6 stars out of 5 stars.
The latest burger has a piece of Mozzarella cheese patty and tangy tomato basil sauce sitting between two familiar Zinger fillets. The featured cheese is not sliced nor shredded; it’s a chunky piece of fried Mozzarella cheese patty.
According to KFC, every bite is “chewy and stretchy”, and it is “a medley of chewy savoury cheese, tangy sauce and crispy spicy Zingers”.
Rumours have it that every bite would also add an inch to your waistline, but that’s not confirmed.
