Remember our previous article about how Singapore finally have a real-life counter-strike arena?
Well, some folks have already gone to try the arena out for themselves and let’s just say it’s really like real-life counter-strike.
First Look at HomeTeamNS Khatib Airsoft Arena Shows It’s Indeed Like Counter-Strike
First thing first, even if you were to go to the arena a hundred times, you won’t be bored with it.
Because according to a Facebook post uploaded by a netizen, Dinie Afiq, who’s been there, the walls are movable.
This means the operators of the facility can change the configuration of the room anytime they want.
He also discovered that doors can be locked which adds a whole different dimension to the game.
But don’t expect to be able to breach into the room via the window because you’re apparently not allowed to do so.
There are two arenas available and the airsoft guns are supposedly provided by Tokyo Marui.
Weapons of choice include M4, MP5 & Pistol.
It was also mentioned that a mask will be provided to guard your face when you’re in play.
SAF-Style Armskote & Firing Range
Now, if you’re not a fan of shooting at people/getting shot at, you’ll be happy to know that within this facility, there’s also a firing range where you can shoot different weapons to your hearts’ content.
The facility operator is allegedly looking into creating a 5-gun challenge where the shooter can shoot different guns with different obstacles.
According to Dinie, it’s “a bit” like John Wick running around with different guns.
In fact, that’s not the only thing “military” here.
He also mentioned that the facility has a “SAF-style armoury” where you have to sign in and out your weapons.

Not Open Yet
According to the post, the facility is not open to the public yet as it needs to pass safety checks.
There also wasn’t any indication of when it will open so if you’re interested in trying it out for yourself, you just have to check the Khatib HomeTeamNS website every now and then.
Each session can accommodate up to 20 people, more than enough to make it a really fun battle.
However, as a Safe Management measure, only 10 people are allowed for both areas (5 pax per arena).
