If you think that IG-worthy ManCaves and a Counterstrike arena is all that HomeTeamNS Khatib has to offer, think again.
Because on 21 Dec 2020, the latest, most iconic HomeTeamNS clubhouse is on the news again, this time for something even more awesome.
HomeTeamNS Khatib Opens 7,000 sqft Peranakan-Themed Indoor Playground
On 21 Dec 2020, Khatib HomeTeamNS Clubhouse opens up a new 7,000-sqft facility to the public.
Called T-Play Khatib, it’s HomeTeamNS’s second indoor playground for children.
The first is located at the Bukit Batok clubhouse and is transport-themed.
This time, it’s Peranakan-themed, complete with the iconic “Dragon Tower” slide, and vibrant designs.
There’s even a cute little seating corner tastefully designed in the Peranakan-style that we’re all familiar with thanks to Little Nyonya:
Designed To Boost & Simulate The Development Of Children
The playground isn’t just designed to look good. It’s supposed to help kids in their development as well.
According to HomeTeamNS, the different courses in the playground are designed to help build and improve a child’s motor skills with coordination and balance.
It will also help to build a healthier lifestyle for them through “fitness and fun activities”.
A Fun & Unique Experience For Families
The playground was created in partnership with Peranakan Home Museum The Intan.
The age limit for entry to the playground is 12 years old, and one adult can accompany the child within the facility.
Other than the facility, Peranakan-themed activities and children programmes will be run regularly at T-Play Khatib.
The organisation added that the activities are designed “thoughtfully” to let the children experience the Peranakan culture in a “fun and engaging manner”.
Staff members who are deployed to T-Play Khatib will also encourage children to mingle with each other and make new friends.
Safe Management Measures
Each play session is limited to 50 people and visitors must adhere to safe management measures like mandatory check-ins and the taking of temperature.
It was added that children are allowed to have their birthday parties in the facility “when safe management measures allow”.
Currently, it’s not allowed yet.
Schools and organisations are also welcomed to work together with T-Play Khatib to organise excursions or day camps.
Details For Entry:
The indoor playground operates via “play sessions” where there are specific times for entry.
Each play session is two hours long and visitors are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes earlier.
Depending on the day, there are 3 to 5 play sessions available for booking (except Mondays where the facility is closed):
For non-HomeTeamNS and T-Play members, the cost of getting an admission ticket is $20 (non-peak hours) and $25 (peak hours).
The prices are, of course, significantly reduced if you’re a HomeTeamNS Family Member or a T-Play member.
