It’s Covid-19 and there are tons of things we can’t do, including going out with more than 5 friends and partying it out with dancing and loads of alcohol after 1030pm.
But what if I were to tell you that there’s an activity that’s perfect for Covid-19?
Something exciting, fun, and a situation where you don’t want to stay close to your friends?
HomeTeam65: Wish granted.
New HomeTeamNS ClubHouse in Khatib Has an Airsoft Facility to ‘Play CounterStrike’
Shoot at each other across an open field? Meh.
Why do that when you can have this?
The new HomeTeamNS at Khatib has an airsoft facility for you to emulate Counterstrike…in real life.
Get together with your friends, have fun clearing rooms in groups of five or setting up diversions and traps to get them out of the game.
Just don’t be the first or second person entering the room because as we all know from our BMT training, the third person has the highest chance of surviving.
The First in Singapore To Offer Such Facilities
The clubhouse in Khatib is the first to offer such a facility and they’re very proud of it.
“A high-tech indoor, player-vs-player Airsoft facility which helps Home Team NSmen improve their marksmanship, decision-making and leadership skills in an urban environment. It provides NSmen with a realistic and competitive environment to battle it out against other squads of players or against each other.
“As the first organization to introduce such a facility in Singapore, HomeTeamNS aims to deliver an exciting and unique combat simulation experience for users.”
That doesn’t mean it’s only reserved for policemen, though, because members of the public can use it as well for recreation purpose.
That’s military-speak for having fun.
Each session can accommodate up to 20 people, more than enough to make it a really fun battle.
However, as a Safe Management measure, only 10 people are allowed for both areas (5 pax per arena).
Other Facilities Available
Not contented with high-adrenaline shooting? There are loads of other facilities at the clubhouse as well.
Other than the usual swimming pool, you also have the largest Fitness Workz gym in the entire country filled with tons of equipment gym buffs dream of every night.
The huge gym is split into 9 different zones including a boxing zone and a guardian bridge so you’ll never be bored there.
There are also ManCaves for you to lepak your afternoon away if your wife refuses to give you your own room at home to play around with.
There are four of them within the clubhouse, all geared up with the latest entertainment gadgets including:
- Wi-Fi
- Air-Conditioning
- Smart TV
- Karaoke System
- Game Consoles
- Board Games
- Fridge
- Build-in Kitchenette
- Bar Counter (only at ManCave Deluxe)
- Outdoor BBQ Patio with Electric Grill
You can rent them for events like birthday celebrations, baby showers, or even a retreat for a corporate getaway (since we can’t travel anywhere else anyway).
There is a maximum capacity of 5 pax for social gathering during this COVID-19 period.
You can find out more details here.
Wow, if the Khatib clubhouse has appeared even earlier, it’ll probably appear as one of the hidden gems in the video we did for Yishun liao:
Now, For The Bad News
It’s Covid-19 so for the time being, the use of some facilities are restricted to HomeTeamNS members only.
Like the Fitness Workz gym, which is currently for Fitness Workz members only and the swimming pool:
Oh well, at least you can still play counterstrike and lepak in the ManCaves, no?
Here’s a simplified summary of the South Korea martial law that even a 5-year-old would understand:
