KOI Launching Biscuit Milk Tea From 8 Sep; It’s Like Milo Dinosaur But More

I’ll be honest and say that I’m not the craziest person when it comes to milk teas.

My orders usually sum up to “milk tea, 50% sugar and pearls”.

Brown sugar too, if I’m feeling extra nice to myself.

But something I’m a huge fan of is milo dinosaur.

For those who don’t know, it’s basically just milo with varying amounts of milo powder dusted on the top for extra chocolatey flavour.

Something I definitely got scolded too much for drinking as a kid.

And if you’re a fan of milk tea and milo, you’re in for a treat.

Milk Tea Dinosaur

Not the exact name, but pretty darn close in terms of looks.

Popular bubble tea brand KOI has taken the next level in milk tea combos to give us the biscuit milk tea.

You can feel the wallets of every bubble tea fan groaning in pain.

This isn’t new for its country of origin, Taiwan, though, as it has been available there since July this year.

But I’m sure we’re all more interested to know what’s actually inside.

Multitude of Mixtures

You can’t have the drink without milk tea, of course.

The crumbs are also a mixture of not just biscuit, but also milo crumbs as well to give it an even sweeter taste.

What is harder to see, however, is that the drink is also drizzled with Lotus Biscoff biscuit spread.

KOI also released a short video showing off the product back in July.

Goodbye, my diet.

Price and Release Times

The item isn’t that much more expensive than other milk tea combinations, being priced at S$4.90.

The drink will launch at a few outlets starting 8 September. These include Nex, Tampines Centre 1, Ion Orchard, Junction 8, Yew Tee and Westgate.

However, the item will then be released islandwide on 18 September.

But with a great product comes the great queues, something we’re more than familiar with. Sadly.

Which means please practice your social distancing. Milk tea is not worth catching the virus.
