I love eating Korean BBQ. There’s something about it that never fails to make me salivate at the thought of it.
The sound the meat makes as it sizzles on the hot grill, and the taste of it as you dip it in some chilli paste and wrap it in some lettuce along with some kimchi.
Perfection.
With so many Korean BBQ restaurants in Singapore, it’s difficult to attract customers to your place.
Unless, of course, you come up with interesting ways to attract them in.
For example, by giving an additional 15% discount to customers who are underweight.
15% Discount For Underweight Customers
Seoulid Korean BBQ is a KBBQ stall that can be found in a coffee shop at Clementi. Before you begin your meal, they will take your height and weight measurements and calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine whether you are eligible for any discount.
If your BMI falls below 20, you will be entitled to 15% off their usual buffet price.
If your BMI falls between 20 and 25, you will be entitled to 10% off.
So if you want to know if you’re eligible before heading down to the stall, you can calculate your BMI by simply dividing your weight in kilograms over the square of your height in metres.
According to HealthHub which is a website run by the Ministry of Health, if your BMI is between 18.5 to 22.9, you are considered healthy.
The original prices of the buffet are as follows:
- Mondays to Thursdays: $18.80
- Fridays to Sundays & Public Holidays: $22.80
But if you’re eligible for the 15% or 10% discount, the prices are as follows respectively:
- Mondays to Thursdays: $16 / $16.90
- Fridays to Sundays & Public Holidays: $19.40 / $20.50
What’s Available?
Seoulid Korean BBQ boasts a huge variety of ingredients with over 50 different things to choose from. They include marinated meats, seafood and many more to make your very own pot of army stew.
You can also take some instant noodles, baked beans and tteokbokki (rice cakes) to complete your army stew. If you’re someone who can’t take food that is too spicy, you can also opt for their collagen soup base instead of the army stew base.
Since they have always been quite popular, we believe that this promotion is going to attract even more customers, so if you’re intending to head down to try the buffet for yourself, it’s best to reserve a table by calling 83688566.
