This popular standee is located outside Seorae Singapore, an up and rising Korean Charcoal BBQ Restaurant located at Plaza Singapura that is widely known for its skirt meat – a type of meat that was reserved only for the palates of monarchs and royal families in Korea. What makes this type of meat so special lies in its cut – with the perfect combination of tenderness and juiciness, yet, with a minimal amount of fat.
The menu at Seorae Singapore boasts a wide selection of pork skirt meat marinated with various condiments – from the classic original galmaegisal to the garlic and spicy galmaegisal marinated with a blend of spices that’s not for the faint hearted. Else, you can also opt for the King Galmaegisal 3-in-1 which encompasses all three flavors in one serving – for those who have a hard time making up their minds.
