K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM will perform the main soundtrack for Netflix’s upcoming animated series My Melody & Kuromi. The collaboration was announced by the group’s agency Source Music on Thursday.
The track, titled “Kawaii (Prod. Gen Hoshino)”, was produced by Japanese artist Gen Hoshino. LE SSERAFIM member Huh Yun-jin contributed to the song’s lyrics.

“Kawaii” will be included in LE SSERAFIM’s fourth Japanese single album Different, which is scheduled for release on 24 June 2025.

My Melody & Kuromi will also premiere on Netflix worldwide on 24 June 2025. The series features popular Sanrio characters My Melody and Kuromi.
This year marks milestone anniversaries for both characters. My Melody, a white rabbit known for her bright pink hood, celebrates her 50th anniversary. Kuromi, a white rabbit who wears a black jester’s hat, marks her 20th anniversary.
LE SSERAFIM Currently on First World Tour ‘Easy Crazy Hot’
LE SSERAFIM is currently on its first world tour titled Easy Crazy Hot. The group is set to perform at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
