LEGO Pop Up Bar Made Up Of More Than A Million Pieces Coming To S’pore

Booze and LEGO might not be two terms you’ll normally associate with each other, considering how the former’s catered to adults while the latter’s designed for children.

But unbeknownst to the majority of Singaporeans, a pop-up LEGO bar’s all set to break all previous traditions by incorporating both aspects…

Together.

Termed The Brick Bar, the Pop-up bar will be heading to Singapore later this year, and it will be made using over one million LEGO pieces.

I’ve some booze… I have a LEGO… ugh… The Brick Bar

If you thought that the most amazing thing about The Brick Bar’s that it’s made using over one million LEGO pieces… you’re wrong.

Instead, what’s even more amazing is the notion that all the pieces are transported and assembled, in the various cities where the bar moves to.

And it’s not just that either. The bar will feature sculptures made entirely from LEGO bricks, as well as LEGO pieces for people to make their own creations.

And to really crank up the intensity, local DJs will be there, spinning tunes at the venue itself.

Booze, music and LEGO bricks all in one place?

Hell yeah.

Incidentally, here’re some photos of The Brick Bar in previous locations, which may serve as a preview of sorts.

Enjoy!

Other key highlights

The Brick Bar might be about booze and music, but that’s definitely not all there is to it. Apart from clubbing-esque aspects, customers can also partake in building competitions to attain prizes, as well as a table tennis competition played on a table constructed with over 22,000 LEGO bricks.

Oh, and did I mention the wishing well?

According to thebrickbars.com, the pop-up bar will be making its rounds in London, New York, Los Angeles, Denver and Toronto this year.

It will stop in Singapore in October 2019 as part of its Asia trip, but the exact location remains a mystery for now.
