Most of us know G-Shock as the watch that you can bring to war and the watch will still come back in one piece, though many Singapore soldiers prefer to watch those $20 Casio watches instead.
But if you’re high-SES and is a dedicated soldier, you’ll know that the “light” in the $20 Casio watches, for some reason, can’t be viewed that well at night as it just emits a light from the side of the screen.
You need a G-Shock that lights up the entire screen.
And for the ladies who don’t need to wear green or blue, G-Shock is your bae when it comes to your intense gym or running sessions, because even if you hit it hard, you’ll be shocked that the watch won’t even have a scratch because it has “10 layers protecting the quartz timekeeping module”.
Just so you know, the full name of G-Shock is Gravitational Shock, and its primary functions are for sports, military and outdoors-oriented activities.
I don’t want to sound sexism but according to the trusty Wikipedia, the equivalent of G-Shock for ladies is the Baby-G.
So I don’t know what G-Shock is doing when they decided to release this.
Limited Edition Sakura-Themed Pink G-Shock Watches
Maybe it’s just me, but pink watches just don’t suit me.
Apparently, Casio doesn’t think so as they come out with a series of limited edition Sakura-themed pink G-Shock watches.
If you can’t read, here’s what they’ve written:
In anticipation of the cherry blossom season in Japan, 3 limited edition models will be released under this series.
All 3 timepieces are splashed with various shades of pink representing cherry blossom with a special mark depicting a single cherry blossom petal is also marked on each watch in unique locations.
From $159 onwards and available exclusively at G-Shock Store @ Vivo City on 13th February.
And if you can’t view the images, here you go:
As mentioned, they’ll be available exclusively in the VivoCity G-Shock store.
Perfect for Couple
It’s 2019, so G-Shock might now be for any gender, and pink is for both genders as well.
Which means this would make a perfect gift.
But if you’re going there and think that a pink G-Shock isn’t for your bae, no worries: they’ve got couple watches as well.
Oh, it’s a girl with a G-Shock.
Well, turns out that the trusty Wikipedia isn’t that trusty after all: G-Shock is for all genders. So is Baby-G. And Rolex.
