Police Arrest 42Y/O Man for Loanshark Harassment After Pig Head Found at McNair Road Unit

A 42-year-old man was arrested on 13 Jun 2025 for suspected loanshark harassment after a pig head, liver, and pork skin were found at the main gate of a residential unit along McNair Road, Boon Keng.

The Singapore Police Force stated that the incident was reported at around 7:50pm on 12 Jun 2025.

Police investigations revealed that a debtor’s note was also left at the scene, alongside the animal parts in a plastic bag.

Officers from the Central Police Division used police camera images to identify and arrest the suspect.

The man is set to be charged in court on 14 Jun 2025 under the Moneylenders Act 2008.

For first-time offenders, the law provides for a fine between S$5,000 and S$50,000, imprisonment of up to five years, and caning of up to six strokes.

Those found guilty face severe penalties under the Moneylenders Act 2008. First-time offenders can be fined between S$5,000 and S$50,000, jailed for up to five years, and caned up to six strokes.
