In the post, captioned “we are sincerely sorry,” the clothing brand apologised for the “unexpected extension of delivery timelines” and “the unfavourable customer experience”.
The brand also explained the reason behind the delays in delivery time, sharing that they had received an “overwhelming response” during the mid-year sale.
Well, with up to 70% off their items during the sale, it’s no wonder the response was overwhelming. It’s common knowledge that kiasu Singaporeans flock wherever the discounts are.
Love, Bonito added that the sales volume created issues for overall operations at its warehouse.

Customers shared that before the Instagram post, the only update they received from Love, Bonito was an email stating that their order was “stuck in orbit”.
Now, Love, Bonito will be stuck in the orbit of Singaporeans’ hit lists for quite some time.
Others also shared that nearly a month after they placed their orders, they suddenly received updates that their ordered items were “out of stock”.
