There’re two kinds of people in this world: those who eat to live…
And those who live to eat.
If you’re more of the latter, well I’ve got great news for you: on two of the weekends in January 2019, the Eatbox festival will be hitting Downtown East for all your tastebud-inducing needs. And judging from previous renditions…
Your taste buds might be in for a real treat.
The Makan version of Artbox
The event’s being touted as the “boutique selection of Artbox”, and for good reason too, for Eatbox is all set to boast over 50 local and regional F&B brands.
Plus, the event will also feature such staples as live music, urban art and interactive photo opportunities (in the form of wall art murals and re-purposed shipping containers).
But still, that doesn’t take away from the main point:
Is Eatbox gonna be enough to satisfy all the food critics?
Well granted, not much detail about the vendors have been released at the moment; but if previous experiences (Artbox) were to be a benchmark…
I doubt it would be too shabby at all.
For example, this bucket of cheese-loaded meatballs is sure to get appetites all worked up.
And just appreciate the beauty of this slobbering beauty.
Granted the fare below doesn’t look the most appetising… but we’re willing to bet that the taste is the direct opposite of the visual representation.
And last but not least, how can any food fair be complete without the age-old staple…
Burgers?!
Indeed, with Eatbox supposed to be a more food-centric version of Artbox, one can’t help but wonder:
Just what kind of delicacies are they going to serve us?
So what’re you waiting for?
Mark down the dates, because if there’s one thing for sure…
This is one 2019 opener you can’t afford to miss.
