Autopsy Reveals Manual Strangulation as Cause of Death

A post-mortem examination conducted by a pathologist from Serdang Hospital confirmed the cause of death as bleeding around the hyoid bone, a U-shaped bone located in the front of the neck.

“The injuries inflicted on the muscle and the bone were caused by manual strangulation,” said Subang Jaya Police Chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat in an official statement.

The autopsy findings ruled out suicide and confirmed the death as murder.
