Malaysian Father Arrested for Allegedly Raping His Daughters for 11 Years, Abuse Started When They Were 5 and 6

A 44-year-old palm oil plantation worker in Batu Pahat, Johor, was arrested by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) on 21 June 2025 for allegedly sexually assaulting his two daughters over 11 years.

The assaults reportedly began when the girls were just five and six years old. The attacks took place at the family’s residence and in a palm oil farm shack.

Decade-Long Abuse Pattern Exposed Through School Report

The elder daughter, now 17, was allegedly last assaulted in May 2025. The younger daughter, now 16, was last assaulted in 2022.

The case came to light after one of the victims confided in a teacher. School authorities and police acted immediately following the disclosure.

Initial investigations revealed the assaults occurred when the mother was either asleep or away from home. The suspect allegedly threatened both girls to keep silent about the abuse.

The suspect’s wife, 43, remained unaware of the ongoing abuse. The father reportedly has a volatile temper and threatened to beat the victims if they disobeyed him.

Due to his intimidating behaviour, both daughters felt compelled not to speak out about their ordeal.

Court Remand and Legal Proceedings Under Section 376

Magistrate Nurasidah A Rahman issued a seven-day remand order on 21 Jun 2025 to facilitate investigations. The suspect was brought before the magistrate court and has been remanded until 27 Jun 2025.

The case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code, which pertains to rape.
