Once again, someone out there has decided to step up their durian food game and excite all durian lovers. Not that I’m complaining.
However, this comes as such a huge tease because this delicious treat will only be available in Malaysia.
*Cue sad violin music*
Press F in the chat for all durian lovers unable to travel to Malaysia.
I’m totally not jealous of the people enjoying the Durian Balls.
As borders have opened up for essential business travelling to and fro Malaysia, one can’t help but wonder when they will fully open up.
It’s still too early to say when it’ll open up for leisure travelling but hopefully soon because I know people are in dire need of a Malaysia fix.
Homage to National and Malaysia Day
As the celebratory-worthy days are approaching, KFC is introducing it’s very own Durian Balls which are made up of 100% pure premium D24 Durian filling.
For just RM4.50, customers, specifically durian lovers, will be able to enjoy 3 Durian Balls (a la carte). Or if you’re feeling adventurous, why not get the 5-piece add-on for RM6.90?

Not enough? Customers can also choose to add on 3 Durian Balls to the all-new Cheezy Cheezy Malaysia combo for just RM3.90.
While we, just like you, can’t GrabFood it into Singapore, you got to admit that it looks really good on pictures.
Limited Time only
The Durian Balls were launched on 26 Aug.
For the people already in Malaysia, if you’re thinking of ordering online via the KFC Malaysia app or web, use the code: MERDEKA63 to enjoy an extra RM6.30 off (minimum purchase of RM25) from 26 Aug to 16 Sept 2020.
Seeing as it’s the durian season here in Singapore as well, can KFC Singapore also introduce Durian Balls to their menu?
I’m sure many people, including myself, would gladly pay for it.
It’s impossible to be able to try out these Durian Balls but hopefully, we get to do so in the future when borders are fully open.
