A 17-year-old girl from Pulau Ketam, Klang, endured months of sexual harassment at the hands of her mother’s Indonesian boyfriend.

The teenager reported that the man molested her six times since April this year.

Under Her Mother’s Supervision

The abuse occurred under her mother’s supervision. The woman allegedly unlocked her daughter’s bedroom door to grant her boyfriend access to the teenager’s room.

The man would remove his pants and expose himself to the minor. He would also approach her bed and molest her during these incidents.

The mother sent inappropriate videos to her teenage daughter, teaching her how to “satisfy” the man. The couple also engaged in sexual intercourse in front of the underage girl.

Police Investigation Leads to Arrest Under Child Protection Act

The teenager completed her SPM examination recently before gathering courage to report the abuse. She sought help from the Pulau Ketam Fishing Village Management Committee, who accompanied her to the police station.

The Klang South District Police Chief confirmed the Indonesian boyfriend’s arrest. He faces detention under the Sexual Harassment and Child Protection Act.

“The man was involved in exposing himself to underage girls, sexual harassment and indecent assault, and the police will send him to a government hospital for a psychiatric examination,” the police chief stated.

The case remains under investigation. Police will submit the completed report to the Deputy Public Prosecutor once the investigation concludes.

The teenager personally wrote a detailed letter describing her experiences at home for the police. She expressed hope that the Royal Malaysia Police would protect her and her other siblings from further harm.
