A 35-year-old man has been arrested by Malaysian police following a violent assault on a female driver after a road accident in Seremban.
The incident, which occurred on 29 Mar 2024 at approximately 10:15pm along Jalan Persiaran Senawang 4, was captured on video and went viral on social media.
Road Accident Leads to Violent Confrontation
According to Seremban OCPD Mohamad Hatta Che Din, the 28-year-old woman was driving when the suspect’s 34-year-old wife and seven-year-old daughter “suddenly crossed from the left side to the right side of the road.”

The driver reportedly could not avoid hitting them, resulting in minor injuries to both the wife and daughter. Both were subsequently taken to Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital for treatment.
A 22-second video of the incident, which circulated widely on TikTok, shows a man in a red shirt repeatedly punching the female driver through her open car door.
In the footage, the man is seen carrying a young girl who was in front of the car to the side of the road before returning to assault the driver again. A male bystander eventually intervened to stop the attack.
Victim Suffers Injuries as Man Faces Multiple Charges
The female driver suffered bruising to her right ribs and swelling to the back of her head as a result of the attack. According to messages shared on TikTok by the driver’s sister, the woman had been driving slowly at about 20 to 30 kmh when the collision occurred.
The sister claimed that when the driver opened her car door to check on the pedestrians, the man repeatedly slammed it until it broke, yanked out her car key, and punched her in the head.
Despite the driver’s apologies, the man allegedly continued his attack, even kicking her in the stomach.
While the seven-year-old girl sustained a minor leg injury, the father reportedly claimed that his wife and daughter were “thrown into the air” from the impact of the collision.
The suspect was arrested at the Seremban district police headquarters on 30 Mar 2024 afternoon. He is being investigated for charges of voluntarily causing hurt, as well as committing mischief and causing damage.
