A 20-year-old Malay woman survived a fall from the seventh floor of an apartment building in Ipoh, Perak on Friday, 20 Jun 2025.
The incident occurred at Kinta Riverfront Service Suites on Jalan Lim Bo Seng.

Emergency Response Team Rescues Woman from Air Conditioning Compressor Area
The Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) received an emergency call at 12:21pm. Eight firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene at Kinta Riverfront Service Suite in Kampung Jawa.

The woman had fallen from the air conditioning compressor area of the rear balcony on the seventh floor. She landed on a ledge on the second floor of the building.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Assistant Director of Operations Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad confirmed the details of the rescue operation.
Victim Sustains Multiple Serious Injuries in Five-Storey Fall
The woman suffered serious injuries from the fall, including a fractured right thigh and multiple lacerations across her face and body.
Firefighters used a stretcher to safely extract the victim from the compressor area and bring her down from the apartment building.
She was then handed over to a medical team for treatment.
Police officers were also present at the scene.
