A 34-year-old man who crashed into four vehicles and fled from police was arrested on 5 Nov 2025, after hiding for 36 hours in an industrial building in Kaki Bukit.

Telok Blangah Crash: Driver Hits Four Vehicles and Flees on Foot
Patrol officers spotted a red car hitting a road kerb along Telok Blangah Drive on 4 Nov 2025 at around 8:30am.

When officers approached the vehicle, the driver suddenly swerved across the road divider and sped off. He smashed into three more vehicles and a bus during his escape.
One person required hospital treatment following the collisions. A 48-year-old male car driver was sent to Singapore General Hospital in a conscious state.
The man abandoned his car and ran away on foot along Telok Blangah Hill. Members of the public captured his face and escape route on camera.

Police launched an island-wide search for the fugitive.
Kaki Bukit Arrest: Police Track Down Suspect in Industrial Building
On 5 Nov 2025, multiple police cars surrounded Premier@Kaki Bukit, an eight-storey industrial complex. Lianhe Wanbao received a tip from the public about the heavy police presence around 7pm.
Hu Xing, a 30-year-old engineer working in the complex, saw numerous officers when he left work at 7pm. “They looked serious and told us to leave quickly. But they didn’t say who they were after,” he said.
A Lianhe Wanbao reporter reached the scene at around 9pm and saw several police vehicles parked below the buildings.
The suspect was hiding in a unit on the sixth floor. More than ten officers stood guard outside the door.
Police brought in sniffer dogs at around 10pm. The search took about 20 minutes.
An officer then carried two riot shields out of the building.
At around 11:17pm, officers escorted a man wearing a red T-shirt and black shorts out of the complex. Police behind him carried what appeared to be evidence from the unit.
Hafiz, a 36-year-old carpenter who rents a unit on the same floor, was leaving work around 7pm on 5 Nov 2025. He walked into the sixth-floor lift lobby and suddenly saw a group of plainclothes officers gathered behind the door.
They immediately asked where he worked and whether he knew anything about the suspect. “I opened the door and saw what I believe were plainclothes police lying in wait. It startled me,” he said.
When he took the lift down to the ground floor, he spotted a large group of police officers waiting downstairs.
The Singapore Police Force confirmed they identified the man who fled from the Telok Blangah crash and arrested the 34-year-old on 5 Nov 2025.
