Man Blackmailed Ex-GF With Sex Video & Punched Her Head

Nowadays, it’s all about videos.

Videos about furniture.

Videos about food.

Videos about Trashy Feed.

Even videos about animals getting it on.

In fact, you name it, I’m pretty sure they have it. Such is life today.

And unsurprisingly, couples have been making it a habit to document their lovemaking sessions on film too.

Not that it’s necessarily a bad thing, considering how it could serve as a memory of sorts, but as this former girlfriend comes to find out…

It’s not necessarily a good thing either.

Sexposed

According to Stomp, it all started on 29 October 2017, when a man (who reportedly works as a safety coordinator) had apparently broken things off with his then-girlfriend. Over the next few days, the now ex-couple had heated arguments, one of which culminated in her threatening to expose his borrowing of money from her.

As it turns out, the man wasn’t gonna go down so easily. On 2 Nov that year, he retaliated with a screenshot of a video of her performing a sex act on him, and expressed that he would spread the clip to others.

Sounds like a woman’s worst nightmare, doesn’t it?

But here’s where things took a curious turn. Just days later, the couple reportedly spent the night together on 6 Nov 2017.

What’s this, make-up party?

Plot twist

Every thought-provoking story has its own plot twist, and this article ain’t any different. After spending the night together, the man realised the next day that she had told his new girlfriend about his infidelity.

And as one might’ve surmised, the man soon went livid.

Anger

At around 8:00 a.m., he turned up at his former girlfriend’s workplace and called her out. She, however, refused.

“The victim refused,” stated Deputy Public Prosecutor Seah Ee Wei. “The accused grabbed the victim’s arm and pulled her but the victim resisted, and fell down.

“When she got up, the accused used his right fist to punch the back of the victim’s head.”

After the man vacated the premises, a security officer did his job and alerted the police. An ambulance was sent in and eventually evacuated the victim to Raffles Hospital, where a medical report was churned out and expressed that she had a painful swelling at the back of her head.

Criminal intimidation

On 3 April, the 29-year-old man was sentenced to five months’ jail and a fine of $30,000. Should he be unable to pay the fine, he’ll have to stake out an additional six weeks behind bars.

He pleaded guilty to one count each of criminal intimidationassault and an unrelated charge of assisting an unlicensed moneylender. In the last point, he had been unable to repay his loan and was subsequently threatened, which drove him to open multiple bank accounts to appease the lender.

For criminal intimidation, the man could’ve been put behind bars for up to 10 years and fined. For assault, he could have been jailed for up to two years and fined up to $5,000.

Reactions

As one might’ve guessed, Netizens weren’t kind with their words.

However, one vocalised a rather surprising thought.

I shall leave you to think through that, eh?

And so…

What’re the key takeaways for this one?

Well, firstly, try to keep your love-making experiences like movie experiences. No phone usage. ‘

And secondly…

Don’t be the first one to throw that punch. Once you do, you’ve lost.
