A 21-year-old man was pronounced dead outside United Square shopping mall in Novena during the early hours of 24 Jun 2025.
Police Respond to Unnatural Death Case
The Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call for assistance at approximately 6:50am at 101 Thomson Road.
An SCDF paramedic pronounced the person dead at the scene. Police found the man lying motionless near a taxi stand.
Crime Scene Investigation Launched at Mall Drop-Off Point
Social media videos captured the mall’s drop-off point off Khiang Guan Avenue being cordoned off by authorities.
At least four police cars and a crime scene investigation van were at the location. A blue tent was erected near the gantry of the mall’s car park.
The police completed preliminary investigations at the scene. They do not suspect foul play.
Police investigations are ongoing.
