Over the years, horror movies have served to condition our minds into thinking one thing:
Ghosts are pretty darn scary.
Whether they’re out for your blood, flesh, soul or little rubber duck, you can be sure of one thing: they’re up to no good.
And as such, it’s little wonder why people find themselves shivering at the thought of having to confront these fleshless entities…
And why they positively freak out when they actually ‘encounter’ ghosts in person.
Man in KL Suddenly Ran Out of Car Claiming to See ‘Ghost’
A 2-minute video that went viral on Facebook on 21 June has stupefied Netizens, and yet left them somewhat entertained at the same time.
In the video, a man can be seen attempting to escape from the window of his white car, slamming the roof and shouting repeatedly with half of his body stretched out of the vehicle.
“Help! Help! There’s a ghost in my car!”
Queer as the assistance for help might be, a kind motorcyclist did get off his motorbike, and subsequently headed over to check things out. But just as the kind soul got closer, the driver managed to open his door and fell to the ground.
But if you found yourself thinking ‘Aww, that’s the excitement gone,’ well guess what?
We’re only at the tip of the iceberg.
After the driver fell, he began yelling for help in Cantonese, and even mentioned “Allah” as well, as cited by Sinar Harian. He then proceeded to run all over the place, flailing his arms in the air as he continued shouting for help. While passer-bys stopped their vehicles to look at him, they didn’t intervene.
Things, however, got slightly more dangerous when the driver ran into the middle of a busy street, where cars began honking at him.
According to Sinar Harian, the ordeal occurred at the crossroads near Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan at Jalan Duta.
Netizens react
After the incident went viral online, Netizens commented that the driver might actually be suffering from mental illness, which would explain his strange gestures and choice of words.
“Maybe he has schizophrenia, where he can see things that others can’t. He should’ve been sent to the hospital for a checkup, it’s dangerous to just leave him like that.”

“I wonder what’s haunting him. He seems really scared. Poor man. Can’t imagine this happening to ourselves.”
Though one did voice out a pretty legitimate question:
“Can the person behind the camera stop shaking? How am I supposed to see the ghost if it’s this blurry?”
Whether he’s joking, however, is up to anyone’s guess.
What about you? What do you think? Is it truly the driver’s mind at work here…
