Man Jailed for 44 Months & 9 Strokes of Cane After He Repeatedly Molested His Daughter

Another day, another baddy news article from Baddy Feed.

When I first turned an adult, I was a happy naive child who thought the world was rainbows and sunshine.

I’d tell the world about how great it was and how bright humanity’s future is!

But slow down, my younger self. World’s a harsh place, and much of it is sadness and suffering.

Like this case right here, where the father molested his own daughter a total of four times.

Started On 13 Sep 2015

The girl was 12 years old back then, and the father, currently 40, molested her in the family’s master bedroom.

When the man and the girl left the room, the man had a plastic bag in his hand. The girl apparently complained to her maternal grandmother complaining that she felt sore around her butt.

When asked by her mother if he touched her, the girl nodded and said the father wiped her clean and threw the tissue into the plastic bag.

The father later cried and begged for forgiveness when confronted.

Maybe at this time it was a misunderstanding or a mistake?

Not what the following incidents would indicate.

30 Sep 2016, Happened Again

This time, the girl complained to her mother and her maternal grandmother. She felt “stickiness” on the back of her pants and went to change after it happened.

Stickiness? He didn’t… did he?

The grandmother noticed a wet area on the back of her pants, which she identified as semen.

And although this is the “officially” second time, the girl told her maternal grandmother that she could not take it anymore since he did this to her “very often”.

10 Oct 2016 & 12 Oct 2016

And then on 10 Oct 2016, this escalated to skin to skin contact, which the girl told the mother.

The mother texted the grandmother, who replied that the father had “no shame”.

On 12 Oct 2016, the girl was in the bedroom with her brother and father. The father then removed his jeans and asked the brother to leave the room.

This was the final time they could tolerate all this bullshit, so the grandmother called the police. When the mother arrived home to find three police officers there, she asked her husband to swear to the Quran that he had never molested their daughter.

Which proved to be mere hope, since the police later arrested the father and forensics show the father’s DNA profile on their daughter’s back.

25 Sep 2019, Sentenced To 44 Months and 9 Strokes of Cane

It appeared to be an emotional trial for the family, since during the trial, the victim, the mother, and the brother distanced themselves from the previously incriminating statements. They also had inconsistencies when asked about the previous statements.

Prosecutors argue that the trio had strong reasons to lie.

The girl testified that she loved her father and did not want anything bad to happen to him. The mother also loved her husband and “always forgives everyone”.

The brother claimed to have a good relationship with the father, and also worried about what would happen because of this court case.

From the above, you can tell that the family didn’t really want anything to happen to the father despite his wrongdoings.

It’s not really the place of this Goody Feed writer to say it’s right or wrong, but initially, the prosecutors sought for five years jail and the same amount of caning. This was brought down a bit.

The father’s jail sentence will start on 1 Nov 2019, as the man told the court he needs time to work and “prepare enough money” for his family.

His bail amount also got increased by S$5,000 to S$20,000, which was posted by his mother.

Sigh, it was a simple thing to do. Don’t lewd the children. And it’s even your children. 

Here’s to hoping the father will come out a better man, especially since from what we can see, the family genuinely loved him.
