Man Broke Into Love Interest’s Home & Fractured Her Neck Coz’ She Was Drinking with Her Friends

If the stereotype is to be believed, becoming green with envy is something that ladies do.

Not men.

Well, here’s an eye-opener for you!

In this story, the man was so jealous of his love interest having a day out with friends, thinking she was meeting some other dudes, and decided to abduct her.

You can’t clap with one hand only.

But for this guy, he is sure as hell gonna try.

A Rescheduled Meet-Up Turned into a Kidnapping

On 5 September 2020, a 27-year-old Chinese national, Shao Changdong, wanted to send some fruits to his love interest’s home.

However, since she was out drinking with friends, she told him to come another day.

Note that the love interest has already rejected Shao’s advances before and the only reason they stayed in contact is because Shao owed her money.

Feeling spurned, he started to become paranoid, thinking that his love interest might be meeting up with other guys.

This was when he decided to kidnap her.

Along with a folding knife, two sleeping pills, a piece of cloth and a bottle filled with a mixture of water and cleaning fluid, Shao went over to her house.

Knowing where she kept her spare key, he took the key from her window sill and broke into her home.

He then forced open her locked bedroom door and laid in wait.

When she finally returned home, Shao was standing behind the bedroom door, ready to pounce.

She was taken by surprise, and naturally, started screaming.

Panicked, Shao choked her in an attempt to stop her from screaming any further.

But unbeknownst to him, he grabbed her neck so tightly that her neck fractured and she couldn’t breathe.

Holding the blade of the knife to her neck, he threatened her by saying that if she doesn’t want to see blood, she’d better listen to what he says.

He also tried to force his victim to take the two sleeping pills he brought, but thankfully, the lady only pretended to do so.

The outcome would have been much worse had she, out of fear for her life, actually complied.

After a struggle, he managed to drag her out of her house towards his place, but decided to stop at a 7-Eleven store along the way.

Seeing a chance to escape her abductor, the victim made quite the scene at the store.

She held onto a display shelf, toppling it in the process, and flailed about as Shao manhandled her out of the store.

The police were called and when Shao saw the cops, he knew he was done.

He released the victim from a chokehold when the officers ordered him to, and was promptly arrested.

The victim was sent to Singapore General Hospital for treatment.

Sentenced to four and a half years in jail for abduction, housebreaking, causing grievous hurt and criminal intimidation

In court, Shao claimed that he never intended to hurt his love interest.

He only wanted to intimidate her with the knife and “help her rest” using the sleeping pills.

Who is he trying to kid?

Anyway, the judge saw through his lame excuses.

Due to the high level of premeditation and planning, Shao was sentenced to four and a half years in jail for abduction, housebreaking, causing grievous hurt and criminal intimidation.
