Guys, would you ever spend thousands on a girl you just met for less than a week?
Local guys, or most guys in the world in fact, would say heck no! Well, not for Pablo Putera Benua.
Pablo was matched with Rey Utami, a TV presenter-cum-comedian, on Tinder. Rey said that the moment they started talking, there was a connection between them. They decided to meet up on the same day itself.
Up till here it still seems rather normal, right?
On just the second day, Pablo bought Rey a car.
A Honda HRV to be exact.
Most guys in Singapore can’t even afford to survive after paying our HDB loan let alone buy someone a car.
You would think buying a car for her is the end of it right? On the third day, he bought her a luxury watch.
A watch which cost about SGD$430,000.
And on the fourth day he proposed. Meeting of the parents was on the fifth day. On the sixth day, they started planning for their marriage and they got married on the seventh day.
This couple did everything normal couples would have done, in at least a few years, in just 7 days.
In merely 420 hours.
You would probably think that Rey only agreed to marry him because of all the wealth he has shown her in the span of a few days but nope.
Rey said that she wants to marry him because he proved to her how much he loves her. This is absolutely absurd. But one can never argue about true love.
So, whoever says you can’t find love in Tinder, you’re wrong.
