When you are tired, you can nap anywhere. You nap on the train, on the bench, in the library (before the librarian shows up), at the movies, at a friend’s house, in the park or on the bus.
But have you taken a nap on the pool? For seven hours?
I bet not. And you must be asking: is that even possible?
Well, Seth did it. (with some help, of course)
Seth took a nap on the pool with the help of two floats.
One of the floats was used for him to lean his back on and the other one was used for him to hug.
This takes me back to the time when waterbeds were a thing. Remember that?
The internet will forever be grateful to his cousin, Ires Vicencio, who documented the whole thing on Twitter for the world to know.
How it happened
Seth and his extended family were on holiday in the Philippines. After drinking, they headed to bed. However, for some reason, there was no space on the bed. (I’m guessing they got one room for the whole party. Like those 21st birthday parties where you find yourself sleeping on the floor.)

Seth decided that comfort was key, and made his way to the pool to sleep. So he put on his swimming trunks and announced to his family that he would be sleeping in the swimming pool. Thinking he was joking, his family let him do it.
To Ires’ disbelief, 20 minutes later, he was still happily floating in the same position.
In the second tweet, it can be seen that Seth rearranged the floats to give better support. This time, with his back still resting on the float, the other one was shifted to lift his legs.
Seth’s POV
So many must be wondering did he actually sleep through the entire night? As it turns out, yes, most of it!
In an interview, Seth revealed that he fell asleep around 11.45pm.
Then he was rudely woken up by noisy people at 3 am as they were playing volleyball in the pool. (Who plays volleyball at 3 am!?)
However, as he was so tired, he fell back asleep in no time and finally arose at 7 am when the staff needed to clean the pool.
That means he had a good 7 hours of sleep.
Seth also shared that the pool was pretty comfortable.
When he was finally out of the pool, he posted a picture in reply to his cousin. He adopted a nonchalant face, sticking his tongue out and hugging his floats as though saying ‘no biggie’.
There should be a Guinness World Record for this.
Side note: I would like to know whether his skin turned pruney at the end of the whole thing.
Caution
While what Seth carried out is pretty dope, Iris cautions anyone else from trying the same thing.
The reason why the family was totally fine with him spending the night in the pool like that is that there were constantly people who were awake and by the pool.
Should anything have happened to him, anyone could have rescued him immediately.
If you want to try this, make sure that there are people watching you or a lifeguard on duty.
