A 29-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen at Block 467B Yishun Avenue 6 on 13 Jun at around 7:50pm.
The Singapore Police Force reported that it received a call for assistance and the man was conveyed to the hospital.
The injured man was with his two young children when the incident occurred. After being stabbed, he brought the children home while bleeding profusely.

The children then rang a neighbour’s doorbell and told her their father was injured.
The neighbour, who witnessed the aftermath, rushed out of her house and saw the injured man covered in blood.
She pressed on the man’s wound to stop the bleeding while others called for an ambulance. The injured man did not say anything and was in pain and sweating, appearing as though he was about to go into shock.
A blood-stained towel was left at the scene following the incident.
Police Launch Large-Scale Manhunt After Relationship Dispute Turns Violent
The neighbour told Shin Min Daily News that the incident was caused by a relationship dispute. She clarified that this was not a random attack, hoping to reassure other residents in the area.
Another resident, 72-year-old Ms Chen, heard that the man was stabbed with a knife but did not go downstairs to check because she was afraid.
Her daughter-in-law went to the scene and reported seeing a knife stuck in the man’s abdomen with a lot of blood, describing it as a “very scary scene”.
Police officers conducted a large-scale manhunt following the incident. They tracked the suspect 850m away from the crime scene to Block 478C near Yishun Street 44.

Many residents reported seeing several police officers downstairs that night. The officers blocked areas including mailboxes and elevators, forcing residents to take detours.
Ms Zhang, a 40-year-old resident living in Block 478C, saw several armed police officers appear downstairs at around 10pm.
She observed them walking back and forth, but did not hear any sound. By 11pm, the officers had all left the area.
The police confirmed they received a report and stated that investigations are ongoing.
