A 42-year-old man was arrested on 10 Jun 2025 for allegedly stealing potted plants from Block 418 Yishun Avenue 11. The Singapore Police Force received multiple reports of plant theft between 5 Jun and 8 Jun 2025.
Officers from the Woodlands Police Division conducted follow-up investigations to identify the suspect. They used images from police cameras and surveillance footage to establish the man’s identity.
Stolen Items Recovered, Charges Pending
Police recovered all stolen items from the suspect. The haul included 18 potted plants, two plant racks, and three flower pots.

The man is expected to be charged in court on 12 Jun 2025 with theft.
If convicted, he could be sentenced to a jail term of up to three years, a fine, or both.
