This video has gone viral, garnering over 515k views since it was posted.
The video begins with a chasing scene filmed from a third person’s perspective, with the alleged pervert running away from someone chasing him.
The video then cuts to a scene from the point of view of the person giving chase. In between laboured pants, the TikToker says that he is running after a man who is suspected of taking upskirt videos, but he is running out of stamina.
Eventually, the pair reach an underground car park, where the TikToker successfully catches up to the accused and catches him.
The on-screen captions then say that a grab driver helped to call the police.

Police Arrived at the Scene to Take Over
In the video, the TikToker, who communicates with the accused in Chinese, repeatedly asks what the latter man was filming on his phone.
While waiting for the police to arrive, the TikToker forces the accused to sit by the sidewalk and tries to pry the man’s phone out of his hand.
The accused hangs on stubbornly to the phone and tries to remove the TikToker’s grip from his phone.
The pair continued talking with the TikToker asking the man what he was filming again. He also asks the man why he was filming.
The accused looks stressed and on the verge of breaking down, saying that he knows that it was “wrong”.

The TikToker continues to press on and asks the man why he did such a despicable act.
At some point in time, the man replies that he “was a man”.
Eventually, the police arrive at the scene.
The video ends without elaborating on what happened to the man who was caught.
For taking upskirt videos, the man may be charged with voyeurism, with a punishment of up to two years imprisonment, a fine, caning, or any combination of such punishments.
