It’s self-entitled individuals like him that makes such news worth sharing.
In this case, a man got his electronic scooter confiscated by LTA when he flouted a traffic law but still went onto Facebook for the greatest rant because he didn’t know what he did wrong. In his words “What is the wrong when i am not on the road and with hemlet on and light?”
Firstly, it’s helmet and secondly, here’s a breakdown of what he did.
Apparently, this individual was cycling across the zebra crossing along Yishun Ave 2 when he got stopped by LTA officers for not dismounting and pushing his scooter across the zebra crossing, which should have been the way – if he did take his BTT lessons or recognized the Singapore traffic rules.
According to the Singapore Road Traffic Act
The driver of every vehicle approaching a pedestrian crossing shall, unless he can see that there is no pedestrian thereon, proceed at such speed as will enable him to stop his vehicle before reaching the crossing.
However, in his defense,
“During the time when the LTA officer was talking to me, there were several e-scooter, e-bike riding across the road”
Okay lah, means you suay lor.
With regards to the Facebook post, several netizens have chimed in on his demise while taking the chance to teach him some basic traffic rules.
Now you know what you did wrong?
