Married Insurance Broker Forcefully Kissed & Molested 22YO Colleague

There is definitely a certain deficiency in our education system since it does seem that many people just don’t understand the meaning of “No”.

Forcing oneself onto another for a kiss, or for intercourse isn’t right, and there is no excuse in the world that can turn the wrong into a right.

Plus, in this case, the man accused of sexually assaulting his female colleague while they were out working, is even married.

Guess he’s not married now!

Married Insurance Broker Forcefully Kissed & Molested 22YO Colleague

Working as an insurance broker when the crime was committed, the married 30-year-old Singaporean man and his female colleague were going door-to-door trying to sell insurance plans to the residents at the HDB on Compassvale Link at night at that time.

Likely acting on an impulse, he suddenly pulled the female colleague towards him so that she ended up on his lap.

He forcibly kissed her and reached into her bra to touch her breasts.

Five minutes later, as they were taking the elevator to the ground floor, the guy forced himself onto the female colleague, trying to kiss her forcibly.

He kissed her without her consent yet again when they reached the parking area, and also molested her by grabbing her breasts.

He Claimed That They Were Having An Affair

During interrogation by police, the man admitted to the crime and revealed that he is having an affair with the female colleague, and that they had sex four months before the incident.

The man proceeded to accuse the colleague of making a false police report after she started seeing her new boyfriend as she was afraid that her boyfriend might find out about their affair.

The female colleague admitted to having intercourse with the man but she explained that it’s a one-off thing.

She felt guilty afterwards and avoided contact with the man ever since.

She claimed that the text messages between them, or the lack thereof, can prove this.

Affair or Not, Sexual Assault is Still Sexual Assault

The judge reviewed the evidence and said that despite the no-guilty plea, the man had admitted to the assault during the police interrogation.

The CCTV in the elevator also showed that he tried to kiss the female colleague and she responded by turning her head away.

It was also seen that she tried her best to stay away from the man in the cramped elevator space.

Couple that with the testimony from the female colleague, it’s obvious that the kiss is unwanted and that consent hasn’t been given.

As such, the judge believed that the man had criminal intent and convicted him of his crime.

The man appealed the conviction and hence, the sentence will be handed out later on 13 September once his appeal is heard and considered.
