Singaporeans live for three things: bubble tea, temporary menu items at McDonald’s, and great deals.

While bubble tea and Chocolate Pies provide a substantial amount of pleasure, nothing gives us as much joy as scrimping on some purchases.

You probably know about this attraction because 80% of your friends on Instagram have taken photos here.

The attraction, which occupies the former skating rink space, features 4D vision display technology in the form of a magnificent 14-metre tall light sculpture suspended from the ceiling.

More than 401,000 full-coloured LEDs are strung within 608 tubes hanging within the cylindrical sculpture.

This interactive technology also allows users to project pre-programmed 3D objects onto the installation via their smartphones.

Sampan Rides

Sure, it may not be a boat ride in Venice, but a sampan ride along the Canal at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands can make for a nice and romantic ride.

According to MBS, over 22,000 litres of water is released per minute from a skylight two storeys overhead, making for quite an impressive sight.
