As any working adult would surely attest to… life gets pretty stale after a while.
Staler than old cheese, by my reckoning. Unless you’re living that high-flying life, of course. If so it’ll be slightly less stale than old cheese. Mozarrella perhaps.
But if you’re not a Mozarrella, and more of say, a Blue Cheese, well there’s really no point crying over it. It’s life. Just gotta accept it. And besides…
Promotional announcements by McDonald’s, like the following article, make life a lot better.
McDonald’s is Coming Out With a New McSpicy & Other New Items Tomorrow
McDonald’s might have come out with some delectable spicy chicken McNuggets, onion shaker fries and an honest to goodness Kit Kat McFlurry just a month ago, but you know us Singaporeans.
A day’s new, a week’s old news, and a month’s literally ancient history.
As such, you can only imagine our collective surprise, and amazement, when McDonald’s released its newest deets for end June:
A new McSpicy, amongst other mouth-watering items!
Starting 27 June (which is tomorrow, by the way), McDonald’s is spicing up Singaporeans’ taste buds with the all-new McSpicy Deluxe and McMuffin Stack. Also joining the new menu items are the rosy Bandung McFlurry and Bandung Soft Serve desserts.
Here Are the New (and some old) Items
McSpicy® Deluxe, from S$5.90
Dig into the McSpicy Deluxe, a combination of your favourite McSpicy patty topped with tasty white cheddar cheese, a slice of extra juicy tomato, and an extra kick of tomato jalapeno relish – all tucked between a soft cornmeal dusted bun. The McSpicy Deluxe is available from S$5.90 a-la-carte or in an Extra Value Meal™ from S$8.00 at all McDonald’s restaurants and via McDelivery and GrabFood while stocks last.
Creamy Herb Chicken Pie, from S$1.00
Okay, this one we’ve tried it before. My colleague said it tasted like vomit, so you might want to skip this.
McMuffin Stack, from S$5.30
Get more out of your mornings with the all-new McMuffin Stack, a punch of savoury goodness comprising two sausage patties, crispy chicken bacon strips, egg done sunny-side up and melted cheddar cheese – all stacked between McDonald’s signature toasted wholegrain muffins. The McMuffin Stack is from $S5.30, or in a Breakfast Extra Value Meal from S$6.50, complete with a Hashbrown or Corn Cup (5oz) and a McCafé Premium Roast Coffee or Tea.
The McMuffin Stack is available during breakfast hours at all restaurants except LIDO and Singapore Science Centre, and via McDelivery and GrabFood while stocks last.
Desserts
And of course, what’s life without some nifty sweet treats here and there, am I right? 🙂
Bandung Soft Serve Cone / Twist Cone and ChocoCone,
from S$1.00 and S$1.20 respectively
Bandung Sundae and McFlurry,
from S$2.00 and S$3.00 respectively
The new line-up of Bandung ice cream desserts in a Cone / Twist Cone, ChocoCone, Strawberry Sundae or McFlurry are exclusively available at all Dessert Kiosks, while stocks last.
And finally, something sweeter than your boyfriend’s words:
Kueh Salat Cake, from S$5.20 each
As an added bonus, the Kueh Salat Cake is making a comeback this year from S$5.20 each to delight kueh lovers with the perfect combination of pandan mousse, sponge cake and sticky rice topped with coconut flakes. The Kueh Salat Cake is available at all McCafé outlets, while stocks last.
And so… what’re you waiting for?
Life might be stale, but with McDonald’s latest promotional offerings…
I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be less stale. A lot less stale.
So mark down the date 27 June, which is tomorrow…
And it’s time to tuck in, my hungry boys and girls.
